For those of you unaware of this tour, a large group of reenactors from several nations organized together to portray the 2nd Armored Division in historical WW2 uniforms with accurate equipment and vehicles.

  Planning for this event was almost two years in the making, arranging times and details with the French government as well as the small villages we were passing through. Coordination was key as we were not only driving and camping at certain times, but we were participating in honors ceremonies for the fallen.

  This is my first time on a trip like this, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I left 4 days early to spend time in London with some friends and to get over jetlag.
