Vierville-sur-Mer

We arrived at the camp site in Vierville. We are one cowfield away from the draw and one crop field away from Omaha beach (although we are on the plateau). However, I didn't realize how close we were until later. We are facing the water from this shot. It was here (and right about the time this picture was taken) when my allergies kicked in full-tilt. These allergies would stay with me throughout the rest of my trip.
