We took two GMCs and two Halftracks and rode to a couple of towns to see locations where some of the action that involved 82nd Recon. Johnny Heyworth (standing above the crowd in the picture) knew these towns and what transpired. Better yet, he had pictures to show us. With the help of local historian, Jean Torchio, we got a good sense of the action that went down. It was great to see how the town changed and amazing to see what hasn't.
