In October, America was still recovering from the loss of September 11th. The Associated Blast took some down time to focus on what was going on in the country and over seas. In time, the website returned to the internet to get back to what it does best: bringing info of Associated Films to the masses. October featured the premiere of Horchata's Commandos and a glimpse of Riverman. It also marked the first ever Horchy Awards, where James Soeffner took home Best Director and Anthony! Ardisone was awarded Best Actor in a Lead Role.
Back online after much hiatus, the Blast is continuing to blast away fresh and informative articles straight from the front lines of Associated Films. Foremost on everyone's mind is the premiere of Horchata's Commandoes scheduled for October 20th, 2001. The finest in dignitaries are invited from both the entertainment and fashion industries. Those attending the red carpet affair will be delighted to see the first trailer viewing of Horchata's Commandoes 2. You can be sure Blast correspondants will be on the scene doing their best to get the latest scoop as to reactions and praises of joy from those attending. Keep checking for more info as it develops!

We couldn't have dreamed it ourselves, which makes this article seem all the more true! Everybody's hero, Anthony Ardisone, has revealed ideas of a music video, featuring a HC1 themed song sung by the actor himself. Members of the band are to include the rest of the crew, Ben Johnson and Ralph Apel with surprise appearances of the dastardly villains played by Kelly Merrell and Asif Husain. The venture isn't planned to be completed by the time the movie premieres, but can be expected to be included in the DVD release as a featurette. Release of the HC1 and 2 soundtrack is scheduled to be released in November, after the premiere of the movie.

Noticing something different about extreme daredevil, Anthony Ardisone? If you're seeing more definition in his muscle tone, that's because Anthony has entered an extreme physical training course. "You're going to see alot more of me on screen now and that's because I am getting buffer," says the king of extreme. He tells us the new work out program involves alot of working out and sweating. "I'm trying to focus mostly on muscle tone and definition, but you can't ignore the fact that I am going to get pretty fucking huge after awhile." As if his career isn't huge already! Needless to say, we're going to be seeing alot more of this X-master in the future, and were talking on screen presence, BIG-TIME!

History was made with the first ever world premiere of Associated Films production Horchata's Commandos in La Mirada, California. Among the throngs of devoted fans were the stars of Commandos and some dignitaries of the movie industry, such as Janie Lynch. The ceremonies were opened by the outstanding performance of the band, "The Muppets" performing their song "Horchata's Commandos Theme Song Times Two," inspired by the movie itself. The audience was pleased to witness the first time showing of the trailer for Riverman and several trailers for Horchata's Commandos 2. There was bonus footage included in the extraveganza of out-takes that left the fans in stitches. The night was capped with a prestigious awards ceremony: the first ever Horchy awards. While the audience dined on fine Italian cuisine prior to the show, we caught up with Best Male Actor in A Lead Role Horchy Winner, Anthony Ardisone. We asked Anthony what is it about the series of Horchata's Commandos that he thinks is the reason of its success?
"Horchata's Commandos is the story of a loner rebel cop who likes to do things on his own but is forced to team up with a motley pair that ends up blossoming in to a beautiful relationship. I think people really adhere to that and can find their own Horchata within in their hearts. Like in the song by the Muppets 'find the Horchata within you,' people can now identify with a certain character from the movie and then release that person in to their daily lives. Plus the movie has great action, pyrotechnics, some dirty love scenes and some even dirtier Sanchezes. I heard the love scenes were cut as they were too steamy and the director wanted more of a family audience. Let me clue you in, though: the love scenes I was in were so steamy that Fredrico, our make up stylist who was gay, became straight."
Deleted steamy love scenes? Will the fan base ever see these? We'll never know and Associated Films is keeping a tight lip about it as well. All we can say for now is that the only 'love scenes' going on at the premiere involved the fans 'loving' those Commandos!
