The new and improved Associated Blast is unleashed to the public! The website had been down for the better part of July and August pending a new domain address and a complete reworking of every page. All artwork and clips are original and copywrighted and each page features more information and functions than its predecessor.

Welcome to the new and improved website of the Associated Blast. As the Editor, I would like to give a special "Thanks" to all the fans and readers who have been with us since our beginning and have continued their patronage even during the Blast's downtime. This new and improved version is for you more than anyone else.
In this version of the Blast, I have created exciting new features that include an Extras link that not only includes work of Papago, but information on the people of Associated Films and what it is like to be a part of their crew when not working on films. I also detailed each section to give it its own characteristic theme to add to the general feel of the movie your are browsing. With this came a price, however. Load times may vary, especially if running on a 56k modem or there-abouts. Alot of the artwork and graphics are somewhat complex and detailed, but I opted to stick with them because I wanted the site to have a strong visual presence. That in mind, this site is not recommended for browsers below a 5.0 version and for modems slower than 56k. Also, if you do run a 56k or slower modem, give the page a full chance to load everything it has before clicking away.
Of course, the website needed to get online quicker than I had time to work on it. There are bound to be several errors, and I would appreciate it if they are brought to my attention immediately. Sending error information can be done by simply clicking the editor link, just as you would to submit an article for review and possible posting.
Speaking of which, I encourage potential journalists and article enthusiasts to submit their work to me. I will read the work and consider it for posting here in the articles menu for non-profit. It must be of professional quality and must pertain only to Associated Films (or Blast) and everything they are involved with. The Associated Blast reserves the right to edit submissions to fit content, necessity and overall quality, as well as to post and/or remove postings at its discretion.
For those who have information regarding cast and crew of Associated Films, speak up and drop me a line. I have my resources and contacts within the industry, but I don't get to see or hear everything. I will have an open ear (and eye) to credible stories about your favorite actor or actress, director or publisher.
This website is my pride and joy. I desire to keep all the artwork and graphics original with no outside influences with the exception to the fonts I downloaded (links can be found to the respective websites on the Extras menu). I aim to please my readers and to keep it updated and interesting to the best of my ability. With that being said, let me catch you up to speed with articles of what's going on in the Associated world. Thanks for reading!

The month of August has been the start of a busy period at Associated Films. Cast and crew had begun work in several productions. After a delayed start, principal photography for Les Marriage Du Tony was shot and completed in August. Post production for Riverman: The Documentary is 90% complete and is pending musical pieces from Dan Downing. Operation 3 Hole Rodeo was wrapped in August and is in the can for the 2nd Annual Associated Films Presentation, set for October 5th, 2002. Also to be shown at the Presentation is the Riverman documentary (which is the feature film), the January box office hit, the Pursuit, and Ben's Big Drink. Ben's Big Drink has been remastered from its original 2001 release. The 2nd Annual Show is also to boast some secret projects that director James Soeffner has kept a tight lip about. The Show is to be roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes, and will be held at Hutchinson Middle School as was done the prior year. Les Marriage Du Tony was not slated for the Show and will be scheduled for the 3rd Annual Show in 2003. RSVP has been tallied at over 70 people, double from the 1st Show held October 21st, 2001. Stars among the crowd include Ralph Apel, Asif Husain, and Anthony Ardisone. Says Ardisone, "I am really looking forward to this 2nd Show. I actually think we should call them Seasons. 1st Season, 2nd Season... sounds cool, you think?" We could not argue.
"This show is light years beyond what the 1st show was, even with Horchata's. I know for a fact that some of the work in this one is going to be awesome. And we've come a long way from where we were last year in the form of filming and editing. Even acting. We have two girls in one film!"
Talk about progress! But we don't need Ardisone to convince us that this show is going to great. With the movie line up and the rumors of secret projects, the crowd is sure to be pleased.

Associated Blast is launched! It is far from complete, but it is time for the public to see the work we've put in to it. The big delay was the Blast Zone, a Bulletin Board System that is sure to be a crowd pleaser and whole lot of fun. As it is 0700 right now on the 27th, I will have some time to kill before the responses start trickling in. Everyone here at the Blast is anxious to see what the readers think. Make sure you sign in to the Blast Zone! It's real simple to do and there are tutorials to explain everything. Let us know how you're doing and tell us what you think of the site.
Unfortunately I was not able to complete the Papago section and the merchandising section. I have to tell you, I hate to leave pages incomplete like that. It will have to be for the time being. Believe me, there are plenty of other things to check out besides those two pages!
Keep us posted just like we will with you. Expect to see cosmetic chnages throughout the site as I am looking to obtain more pictures and artwork. With the 2nd Annual Show one week away, expect ALOT of changes. Happy browsing!
