Though business is slow, noteriety continues to expand for Associated Films. People all over the world, as far as Sweden and the Philippines, are learning about the greatest independent film group the US has to offer.
There has been some activity within the ranks of AssFilms. The commotion comes after a long period of silence starting before the Iraq/American War. Interesting enough, no projects have been scheduled for production nor has any equipment and talent been slated for activity. The Associated Blast looked deeper to learn more about what is making this first week of June so busy.
"Associated Films is stepping in to the forum of independent creative film festival formats," states Anthony! Ardisone on behalf of Associated Films. "Any more than that, I can not say. What I can say is that we've also been busy getting ready for a Swingin' 60s party here at the Studios." We learned that only the most elite of Hollywood's who's who are to be invited to the all Associated affair.
We did some research and discovered that the festival in mind consists of creating a project overnight (created, filmed and edited within 24 hours) with a set theme and specific elements to be involved. The challenging project has been a popular form of entertainment for various successful directors and editors, and Associated Films has risen to the test to show the masses their Can Do attitude. Though details are vague for now, the closer we get to the project date, the more information we will have to release.

The Associated Lot has been awhir with activity this weekend past. Exciting news long anticipated has finally come to light. Associated Films is working on their next major project, which seems to be calling in all the troops. The production, "Jeopardy! Questions For Answers," is the story of a young Seth Alcorn and his preperation to be a contestant on the popular game show, Jeopardy!® Based on a true story, a task force of trivia specialists, physical trainers, and image consultants is dispatched to ensure Seth's success on the show. However, hilarity ensues as the mockumentary reveals the overly aggressive task force members trying to influence their ideas and will on Seth.
Director S Dylan Kirkland stated during an internet interview about the project that he is "freaking wicked STOKED about this project." Jack Maher has already played his part in the movie as musical score. According to Kirkland, "interpretations and remixes of the famous Jeopardy!® 'Think' music" have been already completed. The list of actors boasts several names of fame, and more will possibly be added.
As the project moved out from pre-production and began filming this Sunday past, several obstacles have been posed in front of its path to make this project more of a challenge. The main actor, Seth, is moving out of state on Wednesday, the 25th of June, and will not be available to film pick up shots should there be any needed. Consequently, the crew is struggling to hammer out as many shots as possible with the actor. The rest will be filmed sans Alcorn and will attempted to be edited in to the film without any flaws.
"The b-roll footage on Sunday has already far exceeded my hopes," says S Dylan Kirkland. The simple attempt at another project has already exceeded ours.
