For the many years Associated Films has been in existence, Seth Alcorn didn't make a strong appearance. That is until 2004 with his unprecedented appearance in the May blockbuster movie, Questioning The Answers: A Story Of Seth In Jeopardy!.
Seth first made his mark in the industry in the most unusual way. In the year 2000, film history was made... but without Seth. Though slated to be in Horchata's Commandos, Seth was unable to make the one day shoot. But that misfortune led him to win the coveted "Best Actor Not Appearing In A Film" Horchy award in the year 2001. To this day, he is the only actor able to claim this title.
But rather than seeking to pursue fame on the silver screen, Seth focused efforts in to TV. His skills in trivia landed him a chance to use his unique party attribute to make him money on the television show, Jeopardy. Alex Trebec challenged him, and Seth won. Inspired, producer S. Dylan Kirkland sprung a unique idea to the trivia star: a documentary about a young contestant training for big wins on the popular trivia game show. The natural choice for the lead was Alcorn and the recipe was instant success.
Though Seth Alcorn has only made one brief appearance with Associated Films since Show 3 (Four Of Five), Seth returned to Jeopardy! as a participant in the Tournament Of Champions in Spring of 2004. Big time Hollywood actor and a hero of trivia nerds everywhere, Seth is the answer that can't be questioned. (December 2004).
