The Chief is how we know this man. That's because his powerful performance as a concerned police chief who assigns his best man to a dangerous mission won a place in all our hearts and minds. His on camera strength and off camera poise is so encapsulating that we can't help but watch him in awe. Horchata's Commandoes made him famous. But the man has been in many other projects.
Another touching performance was done in the Orange County Anti-Tobacco Campaign PSA's, where he took real life experiences to the kids to teach them smoking can be bad for you. A community man, he took the PSAs as the chance to give back to the County of Oranges for all the fruit it has bore him. He then took a role in the underground movie sensation released this year: The Pursuit. Running through the streets of Los Angeles, Kirkland's character pursues an object of great desire: a case carrying undreamable dreams. Though his performance appears to be done with great ease, we understand that he really busted his ass to bring the role to screen.
Dylan Kirkland has since moved on to writing and producing. Though untitled, we know several projects of his are awaiting preproduction. He is also slated to return in Horchata's Commandos 2 and we at the Blast just can't wait!
