James Soeffner

James Soeffner prefer to be behind the camera calling the shots as director. However, his noted on-screen performances make the audience crave for more. No lack of talent in this Hollywood super star!
Soeffner was the major factor in getting the Associated Films machine running. His first contract with Orange County Anti-Tobacco Campaign gave the budding film company its foot in the door. Soeffner quickly followed up with three movies, one of which one several Horchy Awards (Horchata's Commandos). Not satisfied with just that, Soeffner continued, taking on the Kirkland / Merrell project for the Pursuit and grafting it from a one hit wonder to a super series with growing potential.
Soeffner then pulled a double-duper by scheming a double project shoot and keeping the cast and crew in the dark about the sister project. The end result, brilliantly shot Pursuit and Pursuit 2. He went on to create order out of chaos with Three Hole Rodeo and Riverman. But his real success came in a sneak attack... known as P3. The success of Pursuit 3 would not have been if it weren't for the tenacity and the skill that Soeffner exhibited. Time, budget, and talent were managed in to a seamless movie with little flaw and plenty of guffaw.
Without a doubt one of the most integral figures in Associated history, James Soeffner continues to create new and exciting films for Associated fans to wow over, with or without the knowledge of the rest of Associated Films members. (March 2003).
