More Info on Horchata's Commandos 2

In October of 2002, trailers announced that Horchata's Commandos 2 would be in theatres the next month. Actually, by the time the trailers were screened at the premiere of Horchata's Commandos, the sequel was still in the pre-production phase. In fact, almost everyone who attended the premiere that evening was not even aware for the potential of a sequel. Director James Soeffner set aside the project indefinitely stating that the movie would be too logistically consuming, mentally and financially, and that he and the studio were not ready to engage in such an endeavor. However, and not surprisingly so, the feedback for a sequel was more than positive. Responding to the fans, actor Anthony! Ardisone took it upon himself to write the sequel's script and screenplay, incorporating new characters, new problems, imaginative visuals, and intense action sequences.
"I wrote the screenplay mainly because of the popular support of a sequel and because I fell in love with the idea and the characters," Ardisone tells us. "I created all sorts of challenges for not only the characters, but for the director, producers and crew. It's not a movie that I expected for us to make right away. But we'd be stupid not to make it."
To date, there is no confirmation when that movie will be made, but Ardisone constantly campaigns to producers to have it completed before Horchata and his Commandos become lost in time.
